Room Additions and Remodels

The Plan Factory offers complete remodel and room addition services. To complete your remodel design we need the following:

1. Survey of your lot showing your existing home. This is usually found in the paperwork received at closing. Mortgage companies and city permitting require that we show the new addition on your survey and how it would relate to any easements.
2. If the location of the house is too far for a site visit we can work with pictures of your home to match style and roof pitch.
3. We will need to know the rooms adjacent to any room addition so that we can provide proper egress from existing structure.

We also offer Rescheck services for cities that require a third party energy evaluation of your new addition.

Our minimum fee for remodels and room additions is $1200. Remodels larger than a room addition will be bid individually. We require a 50 % deposit to start the project. The balance is due when the plans are complete. In addition to the 6 sets of plans we will provide electronic copies to any engineers or lumber companies who may need them for accurate biddings and design.
